Well as far as I know the rumors of backdoors somehow always turn up in Microsoft products. You would be shocked at the amount of undocumented features on most of their OS's. Backdoors would not surprise me. This Vista Black version would probably have carried over anything from the original Vista and I have heard these rumors about Vista since it was called Longhorn.

As far as the hide IP is concerned it makes you a bit more difficult to locate but believe me if some agency wants you bad enough they will find you. You are not near as invisible as the products would like you to believe. What most of them do is send you out to a Proxy (which you can do without their product) which uses their IP address to connect you. Most of them slow you down to the point that you give up using them. Some even send you to several proxies. The more Proxies, the harder you are to find of course. Someone using a cable modem with a fixed IP address is probably the easiest to find but from what I have learned is you can always be found if someone wants to try hard enough.

There has been back doors....(as soom like to call it)...or spyware in all windows operating system as far back as Win98 that I know of!! MickyCrap has admitted to that once it has been discovered....It would report back...what ever info it would collect....DAYLY....but once they were found out they have toned it down to weekly....At the time I found this info they would not state what info they were collecting??.....

None the less it has not bothered the great hackers...and it should not bother anyone else.....After all if it was found and removed....Who is to say in one of those updates you received it is not reinstalled??

But like jcomset said...Hiding your IP is a waste of time....They will find you if they really want to!! I have been running bootleg for close to 4 years now...No budy knocking on my door...at least not yet!!! Besides you spend half your time trying to hide...Been there...done that!!

If your still worried about touching any bootleg Micrcrap program because of a back door...then you best stay away from ANY OF THEM....and stick with came with your computer....But shit...Then again you have the same thing anyway!!

Your Call!!....Move up!...Move Out!...or stick what you have!!....But one thing is for sure....No Hacker of any said programs would ever place her/his reputation on the line and stick you with anything....That is what they live for...creating that ultimate system...and passing it on!!!.....upgrading and passing that on also!!! Post #7....if you want to download the very same from a torrent...That's the one I used...might be slower, but you will get it instead of getting it half downloaded and it gets deleted!!

I was able to DL the zip but dont really know what to do with it now

In using Nero 8, Burning Rom, then DVD, then DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) to burn the ISO to the disk I would like to add additional "Word DOC" to the DVD but can not seem to figure out how to do this as the "multisession" can not be highlighted.

Any ideas how I can add the word doc?

Best check what you had downloaded, because the torrent file did not contain a zip file....At least not the one I downloaed?? There was just a folder with an ISO file in it....The ISO file is what I burnt to disc!!

You can use PowerISO to chance or add files to the ISO...at least that is what it is suppose to do....I have done it with limited success...at least at my end!! Now I use powerISO to extract "All Files" to a new folder on the desktop....Do what I need to do...add or subtract what I want....then create a new ISO afterwards...seems to work better for me!!

Thanks Oldhacker that did the trick. I sure was not going to be able to burn the ISO and add the Doc. using Nero. The Power ISO allowed me to add it to the ISO file.

I have given this vista black a trial run I for one had many problems with vista and drivers working with my printer etc. Also every time i sync my iphone vista would take a memory dump so i am back using my win xp black with vista look.

No your file was a zip file then when opened left me left me with a file called
Vista 32 bit ****.torrent

Is that the iso file or do OI have to do something else with it

With any remake of windows OP system you should always make a copy of your original drivers with a program such as "Driver Genius" ...(Many others out there)....That way you will have what you need if the programs you try does not have it!!
